ABOUT
I grew up in Germany where homeopathy is widely used: A homeopathic pharmacy stood at the corner of my street. My GP had a number of bottles of tiny pillules on his desk that he prescribed to his patients rather than pharmaceuticals. When I was pregnant with my first child I chose to give birth in a birthing home with mid-wives present, using natural remedies. The Paediatrician I chose was a homeopath and kinesiologist as well, and was also well known for her anti-vaccination stance.
Upon moving to Australia in 2001, my obvious preference was to visit a homeopath instead of a GP or Paediatrician whenever the need arose.
When my daughter started school in 2005, I decided to restart my career and study homeopathy at the School of Natural Medicine in Coffs Harbour, which I completed with an Advanced Diploma in Homeopathy in 2010. Since then I have been practicing homeopathy in private practice and have gathered comprehensive clinical experience. I have had the privilege of working with patients of all ages and a variety of diseases.
I love working together with other health practitioners. The clinic I work from is called the “Grafton Wellbeing Centre”.
My patience and compassionate nature are attributes that help me to connect with my patients during their consultation. It is imperative in homeopathy to listen with presence and an open non-judgemental mind. My passion for homeopathy gives me great satisfaction as well as the knowledge that I am contributing to a healthier mankind albeit on a small scale.
Homeopathy has helped me greatly through post-natal depression and other life challenges, now I live life to the fullest. When I’m not running my busy clinic I like to go to the beach, practice aerial yoga, play the cello, prepare healthy meals, read books, spend time with family and friends and embrace life to the fullest.
